The trip that crosses three highest Himalayan passes over 5,000meters Renjo La Pass, Cho La Pass and Kongma La Pass. Three passes can be defined as strenuous trekking with plenty of scenic places along the walk in the Himalaya. This trek takes you in some of the spectacular destination in the Himalayas. The varied and spectacular landscapes, off the beaten track of Renjo La Pass region are the major attraction of the trek. Likewise, the stunning views of over 8000meters mountains Cho Oyu, Everest, Makalu and Lhotse and dozens of other snow topped Himalayan range make your adventure memorable for the lifetime. The trek starts 35minutes fly from Kathmandu to Lukla by twin otter aircraft. After get in Lukla, we will be trekking to Phakding at an altitude of 2610meters. We spent our first night in Phakding on the river bank of Dudhkoshi River. The walk then follows by the lower Khumbu valley with the fine views of standing tree line up to the above mountain ridge. The long climb to Namche Bazaar provides you the first view of Mt. Everest from the ridge located just below the Namche Hill. Namche is the beautiful Sherpa villages of the Khumbu region which is famous trade center of Sherpa people. The village gives you an enchanting view of Mt. Kwongde across the valley. The wonderful Sherpa architecture can be observed at the houses and lodges in Namche Bazaar.
Our treks then follow to “off beaten track” Renjo La Pass through the Thame. The trail will be followed to the most remote Nagpa La valley recently opened for trekkers. The Nagpa La was used by the early Sherpa settlers in late 1400s as they crossed to Nepal from Tibet. After continuous walk to the remote Nagpa La valley you will be crossing over Renjo La Pass to enter Gokyo and Cho La Pass to Khumbu valley. The days crossing over all three passes will be the difficult moments due to altitude. The Gokyo Ri and Kala Patthar located in fine location provide you the excellent views of Mt. Everest from summit, Cho Oyu and Khumbu ice fall. |
