Among the seventh series of the highest mountain Mt. Churen is the one of them situated in the Dhaulagiri range? The tree pinnacles are called Churen west in the 7371m central which is reprehended as the chief one. The route follows from Kathmandu to Pokhara, Baglung and Beni by bus. To reach the base camp it takes five days with the help of the porters. You can find Dhaopatan, Takum and the Gurung village on the way.
In Gurgu we do not find any village but after that when we walk up on the steep way and reach Burjung Kharka following the way of Darsing Kharka following the way of Darshing Kharka to establish the tent for night stay. The river side of Kapekhola and the following 4 hours walk we reach the base camp situated at 4800m high. Climbing to the Churen Himal high camps are visible. Mt. Dhaulagiri is situated in the east where as the Purna Himal in the west. The best route is to climb the mountain is the south west ridge and the season to climb is September to October.
