Chomolhari Short Description:
Chomolhari trek is one of the most popular treks in Bhutan that endows great variety of Bhutanese landscape, outstanding views of Chomolhari (7320 m), Jichu Drake (6900m) and Tshrim Khang, cliffs overlooking stunning views of cascading waterfalls, yak pastures and trout-fishing sites.
And also, this trek gives you the great opportunity to visit the Buddhist Tibetan monastery called Taktsang Monastery or The Tiger's Nest which is founded in 8th century as a meditation cave. It is formally built as a monastery in 1692 and located in the Cliffside of the upper Paro valley.
